When you are looking to get a new dog you shouldn’t be looking for the mass bred groups of dogs that come from a breeding center and or a safe home, you should be adopting, because when you adopt you are, in a sense, saving the dogs life by taking them out of the kennel where they have the chance of being euthanized.
Another reason why you should be adopting is because ultimately you will be getting a great pet the myth that all shelter dogs are violent is untrue, most shelter dogs are there because of a family change like a move or and divorce. Ultimately there are many positives to adopting dogs.
